The Grandfather of the Bride provided this spectacular wedding car!

On Saturday 7th June 2025 we catered the wedding celebration of Sophie and Jordan which ended up being a superb occasion. Four days before the wedding it was unfortunately decided that the original marquee location would not work out too well due to 45mph wind forecasted on the big day! Luckily a back up plan was swiftly brought into action with the new venue offering some much needed protection from the upcoming, prevailing winds.

Soon after our terrific team had set-up the dining area in the marquee and managed to get the welcoming drinks station put in place, the guests started to arrive at a different home a few doors up the street. Once they had returned, the guests were all seated in the wedding marquee where they were treated to one our wedding breakfast feasts.

The wedding reception that might have been cancelled ended up being a highly successful affair - it was obvious that everyone was having a fantastic time and the food went down extremely well with all the guests.

From the start Marcus was happy to share his knowledge of events to help me shape how the day would unfold, what extras we needed, what was not needed and timings of the day. Thank you so much for your glowing review - it was certainly one of the more interesting run-ups to a wedding we’ve had! Marquee, no marquee, field, garden, monstrous winds (never materialised!) and hideous rain (a little towards the end of the day) but we all got there in the end.

Turns out it was a beautiful day from start to finish - from Sophie (looking gorgeous) going off in her Grandfather’s classic Mercedes convertible to the wonderful, chatty, friendly guests. The marquee, in its final resting place in the garden, was truly lovely and decorated beautifully. Our kitchen set-up worked perfectly where it was and everything went like clockwork. We all thought it went really well and we were very happy to be part of such a wonderful day.
