Hannah and Kieran's wedding reception was held at the stunningly beautiful Herstmonceux Castle located near Hailsham in East Sussex: https://herstmonceux-castle.com. The castle's history is fascinating and well-worth looking into. Angela is always a pleasure to work with and we feel very fortunate to have been chosen as a preferred catering company for such a prestigious wedding venue!

One of the highlights of this very special day was provided by the very talented string quartet of South Downs Strings: https://www.southdownsstrings.com. This was our first time working with this lovely group of ladies and we thought that their performance was a perfect addition to this very special occasion.

After Hannah and Kieran had officially tied the knot, Marie, Simon and Lola started serving a selection of our canapés that were very well received!

"We cannot recommend Epicatering enough. They have been absolutely amazing throughout the planning and execution of our wedding. From when we first contacted Marcus 6 months ago with our initial enquiry, we were given advice, clear options and pricing. They were the ONLY vendor we had who would respond in a professional and timely manner which meant we soon trusted the team and knew food and service would be excellent on our wedding day which it was. The staff delivered their service seamlessly even with a kitchen on the other side of the castle. They found us, the bride and groom on many occasions making sure we were fed which was really appreciated and the desert trios were to die for! We felt they went above and beyond their duties to ensure the day went smoothly, we cannot thank them enough".

What a fabulous review! Absolutely stunning venue and we got lucky with the weather which enabled you to have your ceremony outside in the courtyard and it looked perfect - the string quartet an added bonus and, we believe, a surprise for Kieran - truly memorable.

We are so pleased that you found us easy to work with and responsive - we do try and it means a lot to have that acknowledged, so thank you for that.

Herstmonceux is indeed a challenging venue for caterers but, luckily, it wasn’t our first time catering there which made the day easier although we did both walk over 10 miles!! Good for the soul (sole! 🤣)

The waitstaff work very hard and it is super that you appreciate that - they will be thrilled.

The menu seemed a hit with the guests and the trio’s were a new arrangement for us, making the sticky toffee pudding individually meant less waste but just as much taste - great to know they were a hit!
