On Friday 27th June 2025 Kat and Chris tied the knot at the superb Cissbury Barns that's set within the beautiful South Downs National Park in Findon near Worthing in West Sussex. After the wedding ceremony we offered some refreshing welcoming drinks, for which the wedding guests were certainly thankful as it was a very hot day! Next on the agenda was a selection of our ever-popular canapés.

For the main course we served up a proper barbecue feast!

I used Marcus and his team for my wedding last week and honestly, if I could give them 100 out of 5, I would!

From our first conversation, Marcus was so friendly and positive. He had great ideas and was so efficient with all his correspondence.

We ended up having several guests with dietary requirements, a few of which were really quite specific and very limited. Marcus went over and above and even contacted the guests in question himself and designed a bespoke menu to suit their requirements. He ensured we had alternative options for canapés for other dietary requirements and even the kids got their child friendly canapés!

We ended up having a big BBQ as our meal and Marcus’ promise of an abundance of delicious food did not disappoint! We’ve had loads of compliments about the food and service.

The whole team at Epicatering were absolutely fantastic! They were all friendly and all did their upmost to ensure we had the most amazing day!

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone and everyone I can and would use them again in a heartbeat! I’m already thinking about what excuse I have for another party to have them cater for!

Wow!! We are both totally blown away by your terrific review! Thank you so very much.

Your wedding was awesome, and although a couple of times when we looked up at service, we thought you had gatecrashers and more coaches had rocked up (!), we thought service went very well and surprisingly quickly. The guests were very patient, chatting and laughing with each other whilst queuing up for their meals, and lovely to the staff serving them. We got everybody through, with some coming back for seconds and many lovely comments on the food - which is always great to hear.

It was really special to meet your mum, who couldn’t be lovelier and she was super pleased with the food we gave her as were the other guests with dietary restrictions - it was kind of you to supply their names as we were able to serve them easier with their meals - so not only were you pleased with our service, we were thankful for your planning and taking the time to provide us with the dietary details.

We would like to take this opportunity to wish you both the very best going forward in your married life together and would love to work with you again should the opportunity arise.

I’ve always had dietary problems and have simply dreaded even the most smallest gatherings at restaurants or wherever. So imagine my dread at my own daughter’s wedding!!! Imagine too my total shock receiving an ‘out of the blue’ phone call from The Chef - Marcus to double check my dietary requirements. You’ll be more amazed to read that albeit Marcus and his team catered for over 150 guests he still sought me out amongst the crowd to personally present my dessert. How’s that for service? Above and beyond in my book. Absolutely first class from start to finish. A professional team in more ways than one. As mother of the bride I couldn’t be more grateful to them catering to such high standards. My deepest and sincerest thanks.

We had no idea that you were dreading the wedding day! It’s really not that difficult to cater for a persons dietary requirements - all it takes is a little time and consideration - you shouldn’t be penalised for your health needs and it was our pleasure to look out for you and, indeed, finally meet you on the day.

What an absolutely superb day it was - your daughter looked stunning and I’m sure you were very proud of her. Our wait staff thoroughly enjoyed looking after your guests who were all decidedly lovely and friendly.

It was our pleasure to cater the day - although every time we looked up from the food station it seemed like another coach load of people had arrived - but we got there and everyone was fed.
